Customer eed with Dreamroofs

How it works

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Tell us what's going on

Call or send a request with your address and what you're seeing: a leak, missing shingles, hail damage or just an old roof. Photos help if you have them.

  2. Step 2

    Roof inspection

The shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots and gutters are checked, along with the attic or ceiling where water shows up, to find the cause and not just the stain.

  3. Step 3

    A clear quote

You get a quote that spells out the scope of work and the materials, with options when there's more than one sensible way to fix the roof.

  4. Step 4

    The work and the cleanup

The job is scheduled around the weather and your calendar. When it's done, the site is cleaned up, nails and debris included, and the finished work is walked through with you.

What clients say

4.5

“Richard did a reroof on an older farm house for my mother. It had to be completely removed and replaced with new sheeting and then asphalt shingles. He accomplished the job in a timely manner and left the work site very clean when finished. He also installed a solar vent in the roof and it looks very good. The price was very fair for the entire job and I would highly recommend Dream roofs for any roofing needs you might have.”

JAMES ROBERTS

“We recently asked Richard and Maya to strip off our 19 year roof and replace with new architectural shingles. A friend who is a very detailed and demanding customer referred Dreamroofs to us and we are happy to give an outstanding recommendation to anyone needing to replace or repair their roof.”

KIM ST. OURS

“I called Dreamroofs yesterday in a panic after snow stripped several vents off my metal roof. Richard showed up despite 15-degree temp. He made a temporary roof patch to keep me dry plus, he removed the ice and snow. What’s more, he didn’t try to price gouge like many people are doing in this weather, his fee was extremely reasonable especially given the adverse conditions. My mind is at ease that my house can weather the next storm coming in, and that is something that is priceless.”

FAQ

Customer eed: common questions

Do you dream about a special little project ?

We can customize any dream, into a reality with a dream roof, we specialize in "out of the box" projects.

How do I know if I need a roof repair or a full replacement?

It depends on the age of the roof and how widespread the damage is. A few missing shingles, a cracked pipe boot or a leak around a chimney can usually be repaired. Shingles curling, cracking or shedding granules across the whole roof, repeated leaks in different spots, or soft decking usually point to a replacement. An inspection tells you which one you're dealing with.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are done in one to three days once work starts. Large or steep roofs, several layers to tear off, decking repairs and the weather can add time. You'll know the expected timeline before work begins.

Can new shingles go over my old roof?

Sometimes, but it's rarely the better choice. A second layer hides the decking, so rot or soft spots go unseen, adds weight to the structure and can shorten the life of the new shingles. Many local codes also allow no more than two layers. A full tear-off lets the decking be checked and repaired before the new roof goes on.

My roof is leaking right now. What should I do?

Move belongings out of the way, put a bucket under the drip and keep people away from any ceiling that is sagging with water. Take photos inside and out. Then get in touch with your address and where the water shows up; a temporary cover can often keep water out until the repair is made.

Should I file an insurance claim for hail or wind damage?

If a storm damaged your roof, have it inspected before you decide. Take photos, write down the date of the storm and check your policy for deadlines on reporting damage. Your insurer sends an adjuster to assess the claim, and knowing what was damaged beforehand helps you follow the process.
